Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council
The Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council was established in 1980 to promote the arts in the Acton-Boxborough community and to award and administer the Massachusetts Cultural Council grant funds.

Affordable Housing Trust
The Affordable Housing Trust provides for the creation and preservation of affordable housing for the benefit of low- and moderate-income households, and to support the activities of the Boxborough Housing Board through grants of real and personal property.

Agricultural Commission
The Boxborough Agricultural Commission is a 5-member board established by a vote of Town Meeting in 2008 to promote the practice of agriculture in Boxborough.

Board of Assessors
Volunteer Interest – Boxborough Board of Assessors The Town of Boxborough is forming a Board of Assessors and seeks residents interested in volunteering. This three-member board ensures fair and equitable property assessments, supports the annual tax rate process, reviews abatements and exemptions, and works closely with the Principal Assessor. Members serve staggered three-year terms, must complete the Department of Revenue’s Basic Assessors Training Program within one year of appointment, and are encouraged to participate in continuing education to stay current on assessment practices and Massachusetts law. Meetings will be held as needed, at least quarterly, in compliance with the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law. Residents interested in serving are invited to submit their volunteer interest to the Select Board. This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to Boxborough’s fiscal stability and transparent municipal government.

Boxborough Emergency Reserve Corps (BERC)
Our mission is to partner with public safety officials to make our community safer and more able to handle natural or man-made disasters through volunteer training, education and planning.

The Boxborough Leadership Forum meets periodically throughout the year to discuss issues related to town government.

Cemetery Commission
The Cemetery Commission is responsible for North Cemetery on Hill Road and South Cemetery on the corner of Burroughs and Stow Roads.

Community Preservation Committee
The Community Preservation Committee studies the needs, possibilities, and resources of the Town regarding community preservation, and consults with other municipal boards to that end.

Conservation Commission
The Conservation Commission (ConsCom) is charged with protecting and managing wetlands and the Town's conservation trail system.

Council on Aging
The Council on Aging Board (CoA) acts in an advisory capacity to the COA Director to enhance the lives of Boxborough senior residents.
