Overview

The Boxborough Land Stewards group was formed in March, 2004, to provide land stewardship support to the Boxborough Conservation Commission. The town has over 1,200 acres of conservation and municipal land, with over 30 miles of trails, which are maintained by the stewards, in cooperation with the ConsCom, the Department of Public Works, and other town departments.

Trails

A trail guide with maps of each property is available at Town Hall for $5.
Thanks to a conservation restriction and a pedestrian easement agreement with Cisco, we have an accessible trail system that goes through the Cisco campus, at the end of Swanson Road. See some pictures of what you will see along the way.
Trail maps can also be downloaded from the town website. For a live trail map on your phone, go to OpenStreetMap and click on the "Show Location" icon.
Several of our trails have letterboxes for you to discover.
