In 2022, the Economic Development Committee was awarded a Community Planning Grant, to study the future of a Boxborough Village Center. Having now signed a contract with Tighe & Bond, this exciting work is well underway, with a day of public engagement scheduled for Saturday February 10th! We hope you'll join us at Boxborough Town Hall for any or all of the events that day, and we plan to offer virtual participation for at least one session.

Review the Draft Plan! - Complete our feedback form

After 6 exciting months, we've received our draft plan. We're collecting our last round of feedback, and we want to know what you think. You can view the report below or by clicking HERE

To provide feedback, we are using a google form, which can be found HERE. This survey shouldn't take more then 5 minutes, and it will allow you to weigh in on the vision. We're collecting feedback on the plan until May 28, but we encourage you to keep filling out the form even if you miss the deadline. 

MAY 22 Final Public Meeting

On Wednesday May 22, from 6 - 8 PM. The Village Center Working Group will host an open forum to review the project. The consultant will present on the work thus far, and introduce a final draft of the recommendations and conceptual village center. You can attend this zoom meeting by clicking HERE

APRIL 29 Second Working Group Meeting

On April 29, the working group met to review a revised concept. Tighe & Bond showed a revised conceptual site plan, the demonstrated increased emphasis on walking paths and walkability, centered around the Stow Road, Middle Road, and Mass Ave intersection. MARCH 28 First Working Group Meeting

A working group has been formed, comprised of representatives from several boards and committees. The intent of this group is to provide feedback and guidance to the consultant, as they develop their final report and recommendations. We welcome public attendance and public comment at our meetings and encourage any who missed the meeting to rewatch the event by clicking HERE. FEBRUARY 10 Public Engagement Session

The Economic Development Committee and the Town Planner hosted a public engagement forum on Saturday February 10th. The event was well attended, with over 50 participants. Tighe & Bond, the Town's Consultant, utilized a mix of virtual and in person engagement methods; including mapping and dot-density exercises. The results of this forum will be memorialized in the final report this Spring.
