At the May 2025 Town Meeting, the M-BEAP Program was funded in the amount of $20,000 by a unanimous vote.
The assistance is primarily intended to cover emergency situation due to utility shutoffs, potential eviction or any other emergency situation (e.g., childcare or transportation necessary to work). Assistance is available until expended.
The Community Services Coordinator (CSC) is available to help fill out the application if needed.
Once reviewed and approved by an oversight team, the funds will be paid directly to the service provider (e.g., landlord, utility, medical professional). They will not be paid to you. A W-9 form will also be required from each vendor before payment can be made.
