FY2026 Applications for abatements are accepted between the date third-quarter tax bill is received and 4:00 pm on February 2, 2026. An Abatement application package can be downloaded from here. You can also obtain a hard copy by calling 978-264-1721, or by writing or stopping by the Assessor’s office during regular office hours, 8-4 Mon-Thurs.
Please note that the Assessor's Office, by law, cannot act on any abatement application received after the deadline.
