Recreation Commission
The Recreation Commission is responsible for the development and implementation of recreational programs for the youth and other citizens of Boxborough and more.

School Committee
The School Committee reviews programs and procedures, establishes goals for the school system and develops and monitors the budget.

Select Board
In the Town of Boxborough, the open Town Meeting is the town's legislative body. It provides an equal opportunity for all citizens to participate in the decision-making process.

Steele Farm Advisory Committee
As a result of the vote of May 1994 annual town meeting and a subsequent override election, the Town purchased the Steele Farm on Middle Road consisting of roughly 36 acres and three buildings. The charge of the Steele Farm Advisory Committee is to make recommendations to the Board of Selectmen as to the use of the property and buildings.

Sustainability Committee
The Boxborough Sustainability Committee is an all-volunteer committee appointed by the Board of Selectmen to help the Town save money by controlling energy costs and reducing the Town's impact on the environment.

Town Government Study Committee
The Town Government Study Committee was dissolved on October 2, 2017, after giving their final report to the Board of Selectmen.

Town Meeting Study Committee
The Committee’s mission is to research, evaluate and recommend the best option or options for the ways and means of increasing attendance, awareness, and citizen participation in town government and annual Town Meeting.

Traffic Safety Committee
This committee, appointed by the Selectmen, is formed to study traffic conditions and patterns in the Town, evaluate options for traffic safety improvements and recommend to the Board of Selectmen approaches to provide for safer and more livable neighborhoods.

Veterans' Tribute Committee
The mission of the Veterans' Tribute Committee is to recommend to the town projects and practices that serve as appropriate tributes to the service of Boxborough Veterans and their families.

Water Resources Committee
The Boxborough Water Resources Committee (WRC) guides the Town in protecting its water resources and meeting its long-term water supply needs.

Well-Being Committee
The Boxborough Well-Being Committee was established by the Board of Selectmen in 2013. Its mission is to look at ways to improve the health and welfare of town residents.

Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals is a quasi-judicial body established by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under the Zoning Enabling Act, Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 12, and Section 9100 of the Boxborough Zoning Bylaw.
