Boxborough Spring Election Schedule 2026
Boxborough will have a Special Town Election on March 17, 2026
In order to pass a debt exclusion question, both a Special Town Meeting (to be held on March 9th) and a Special Election (to be held March 17th) need to take place. There will be debt exclusion question(s) on the ballot and as Article(s) on the Special Town Meeting Warrant regarding the design and land purchase for a new fire house. Boxborough's Town Election is Scheduled for June 2, 2026
This year our Annual Town Election will be held later than usual due to a later date for the Annual Town Meeting (starting May 18).
Nomination papers for elected town offices are available from the Town Clerk's office now through April 10, and are due back on April 14. On the ballot in 2026:
- Select Board, three-year term: 2 seats
- School Committee, three-year term: 2 seats
- Planning Board, three-year term: 2 seats
- Library Trustees, three-year term: 2 seats
- Board of Health, three-year term: 1 seat
- Town Moderator, one-year term: 1 seat
