Town Board/Committee Vacancy - Council on Aging

The Boxborough Council on Aging is seeking individuals interested in joining it's board as we strive to provide programs and services that enrich the lives of Boxborough citizens. Between 2001 and 2019, the Town’s population of those age 60 and over rose from 318 to 1,266; from 6.4 percent of the population to 24.7 percent.

With seniors now representing a quarter of our residents, it becomes increasingly important that we create services that enhance the emotional, intellectual, and physical lives and well-being of that segment of our community. The COA enthusiastically welcomes the participation of residents willing to propose and guide the implementation of new offerings, to assist with services currently offered, and to help guide COA policy and decision-making as we move forward. Those interested in joining the board, or seeking more information of what board membership involves, are invited to contact COA Board chair Bill Litant at
