Town Hall Reopening Update

The Town of Boxborough will be following the State’s new COVID-19 guidelines.

  • As of May 29, all remaining COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted, and all industries in Massachusetts will be permitted to open at 100% capacity
  • Also, as of May 29, the face covering order will be rescinded and replaced with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s updated guidance.
  • As of June 15, the State of Emergency will be lifted.

Consistent with Governor Baker's lifting of COVID-19 restrictions on May 29, Town Hall will reopen to the public on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. The Town encourages continued use of drop boxes (located outside of Town Hall), online and phone transactions to safely and efficiently conduct municipal business whenever possible.

Non-vaccinated individuals are advised to continue wearing face masks and to continue distancing in Town Hall settings.

Face coverings will be required in Town buildings by all visitors and by employees when six feet of separation cannot be maintained, or when interacting with the public.

Town Hall Hours after June 1, 2021 will be the following:

Monday - Wednesday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Thursday | 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Friday | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We thank the many residents and businesses for their flexibility throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic in adopting new ways of conducting business with the Town.
